Time is slipping through my fingertips
Life is one god damn bumpy road

I am in need of my happy place

Wake up, prep up, do your time
In an unfair exchange of labor and dime

There are those moments that I cherish a lot
Of those good ol’ days, or so I had thought
No matter how was it gloom or dark

Childish sense of hope that I took for granted
